A prolific Armenian culture life existed in the village of Bardizag (modern day Bahçecik). The evidence of this lies in the numerous Armenian newspapers that were published in this Armenian-inhabited place.
Our newly released article is about Bardizag‘s Armenian periodical press. Its author is one of Houshamadyan‘s own associates and friends, Mihran Minassian. In his article, he provides a brief introduction to the 21 newspapers of Bardizag, the information around which he collected from examining multiple and often rare sources.
The article is translated to English and Turkish by Tamar Marie Boyadjian and Sevan Deirmendjian, respectively.
